The Kutchi Kumhbar Welfare Trust, based in New Kumbhar Wara, Lyari Town, Karachi, Pakistan, recently organized an impactful event focused on empowering widows and young individuals from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. This event is part of the Trust’s ongoing mission to uplift underprivileged segments of society by providing them with essential skills and resources to improve their economic situation and overall quality of life.Founded by Rafiq Mara, the Kutchi Kumhbar Welfare Trust has been instrumental in driving community development. The Trust is managed by Dr. Iqbal Adam, who ensures the effective implementation of its various programs, and led by CEO Ghani Zakriya, who oversees the strategic direction and sustainability of the organization.In addition to offering free training in various trades, crafts, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship, the Trust also distributed essential machinery to the participants. These machines, tailored to the trades taught during the training sessions, are crucial tools that enable the beneficiaries to start their own small businesses or improve their existing work, thereby fostering economic independence.
